Loving:

+ these Valentines that me and Lily made last night. She crocheted friendship bracelets for everyone in her class as well as her favorite people in the school. 37 in all. Luckily, crocheting is her new passion and she can finish a bracelet in under one minute. Her little hands going a mile a minute is pretty much the most precious thing I've ever seen. I printed out a simple little card to thread the bracelets through and then we packaged them up in cellophane bags sealed with happy tape. [I totally stole this idea from the amazing Danyelle.]

+ my husband. This morning he directed me to stay in bed and rest while he unloaded and loaded the dishwasher. This is huge folks. He doesn't like doing dishes AT ALL, so this was a pretty grand gesture of love. Then he brought me breakfast in bed. He sure made me feel special. I love my valentine.

+ two new tunes that were in my inbox this morning from The Lower Lights. They sent out an email to all of their subscribers with info about their upcoming tour and two previously unreleased songs. If you haven't already, be sure to sign up to recieve updates and new music from The Lower Lights on their website. One of the two songs is called "Poor Wayfaring Stranger" and is sung by Deb Fotheringham; It is bring-you-to-your-knees-gorgeous. I'm counting on hearing that one live at the show on March 5th [only 19 days. get your tickets!]

Happy Valentine's Day!
