Josh Ritter at The Showbox.

On Tuesday morning, Brandon and I headed out towards Seattle to catch Josh Ritter live.  When we left here it was a sunny morning. By the time we reached the mountains, it was a whiteout bizzard and the mountain pass was closed. We waited in the car for over 4 hours before the pass was finally open and we were able to cross the mountains. It took us a total of 9 hours to get to Seattle; normally just a 3.5 hour drive. It was crazy.

I found this image from Photographer Elisa Sherman and she kindly gave me permission to use it here.

Thanks Elisa!
P.S. you have the raddest job ever!

Josh sounded really good, and he performed most of the new album, but I was pretty disappointed that he didn't do Change of Time, my favorite track from "So Runs The World Away."

For me, the highlights of the show were:

I think I'll be more cautious about buying tickets to shows in Seattle this time of year. You never know how horrendous that mountain pass can be!
