It's Wednesday, how about a giveaway?
Parlor Hawk has generously agreed to send their new album,
Hoarse & Roaring to one lucky winner.
I love this bands sound, and have been listening to their song "Home" a lot lately.
Ask Madeline. She's with me at home, in the car. It's on all the time.
I think it's the hand clapping and group singing that joins in at the chorus
that has me smitten with the song.
The rest of the album is excellent as well. I love the songs "Every Bone", "Short Road", "Julian", and "Lark." But there isn't a bad song on the album, which is why I am excited about this band. I'm not sure what the band would classify themselves as, but I would place them in the indie-rock genre.
The album will be available on iTunes June 15th,
