My day is already off to a lovely start:
Jocelyn made me breakfast in bed; waffles with strawberries + eggs.
and she cleaned up the kitchen. She is a sweetheart.
Lily painted my nails. She gave it her best effort!
I told Madeline that her gift to me would be to willingly share her clothes with Jocelyn today. [Normally a big Sunday disagreement!] She obliged, with not even a frown. I kissed her freckled cheeks as a thank you!
And I asked Ethan if he would go outside to play with Lily, since she had been begging him to for hours. He happily said yes.
