Volume Two.

Volume One made me unbelievably happy. See here. and here.
Volume Two is already at the top of my list for best album of 2010.
I just can't resist the lilt and ease of Deschanel's voice.
It's still the most charming music on the market.
It's the kind of music I can listen to any time, on any day.
The kind of tunes I want to spin while I wash dishes in my apron.
While I drive in my mini-van.
While I vacuum the rug.
While I take a walk.
While I ...
do anything.

The lyrics, almost entirely written by Deschanel,
are the highlight for me. Like these:

"It doesn’t get better than home, now does it?
Doesn’t get better than home, now does it?
I could be your welcome, I could be your greeter
I could be sweet and I could be sweeter
I want to be where your heart is home."

I love every track,
and I hope you will too.

In fact, I am going to pick up an extra copy
of this album at the store today
for one lucky reader.
If you would like to win it,
comment once [with your e-mail]
on this post
before Wednesday 9am.
I'll announce the winner tomorrow.
