Madeline: 9th grade, a freshman. She desperately wants to attend PHS, but they have put a freeze on transfers and so for now, she will continue to go to school out here. We'll try to make lemonade out of lemons. I hope she has a great year of high school regardless of where she is attending.
Jocelyn: 8th grade. I think this is the hardest year of school for most kids, so my hope for her is that she will not stumble too much and that she will stay close to her true friends.
Ethan: 5th grade. I can hardly believe that this will be Ethan's last year at the elementary. It kind off hurts my heart that he is growing up so fast. He still seems like my little boy to me.
Lily: 2nd grade. She is so super excited about the teacher she got this year. Her teacher is our next door neighbor...she thinks that is pretty cool.
Right now, all I can hear is the sound of the air conditioning and it is peaceful. But if I'm being honest, I miss my kids.
