Hello September.

Last night after a little trip to town, we drove into our garage and I got out of the car and took a deep, deep breath, and lo and behold, I could smell the grapes from a nearby vineyard. On the eve of the first of September, it was like a little gift...

{ I adore September. }

Hmmm, I love this mix. [do I say that every month?] But really I do. Here's my top ten:

1. Trying - Kate Walsh. You can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be listening to her brand new album ALL.DAY.LONG today. I already love it, and so far this one's my favorite.

2. Heavy Like Sunday - Leona Naess. Thank you Lovely Lindsay...that's all I've got to say.

3. Fire Escape - Diane Birch. When I'm in the mood for new music that has that retro vibe, this is the artist I go to.

4. You and I - Wilco & Feist. Need I say more?

5. Little Bird - Brooke White. Even if you tied me up and covered my mouth with duct tape, I would still try to sing along with this charming tune.

6. Honey Bee - Zee Avi. The namesake for this month's mix...just listen to the lyrics...it captured my heart.

7. Tonight You Belong To Me - Josh Ritter & Blake Hazard. Good luck finding this song...my dear Lindsay gifted me this song, and I've yet to figure out where she found it. And it is lovely. And if you win this mix, you can get it for yourself.

8. Maybe - Ingrid Michaelson. With fair last week, I haven't had the chance to review her new album but I will, because it is AMAZING!

9. Come Home - One Republic & Sara Bareilles. I loved this song before Sara sang it with them, but I love this version even more.

10. You & I Both - Jason Mraz. This has always been my favorite Jason Mraz song and I really really love this live/acoustic version.
