Dear Summer,
I have been so busy these last three months that I have had little time to relax and enjoy you. Lately, I've been wishing that I could just push rewind and slash some of the business to make more time for swimming at the pool, and family BBQ's and reading...I really wish I had the chance to read more books. Oh, well.
But, Summer, all of this craziness has given us plenty of good memories. We have raised 7 pigs to take to fair, we have picked blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. We have gone to girls camp, basketball camp, EFY, concerts, ultra-marathons, and family reunions. We have visited cousins, pulled weeds, cleaned the garage, and focused on housework. After fair next week, we will be ready to bid you farewell and welcome fall.
