a couple of creative ideas from Etsy:
this is one of those "wish I would have thought of that" ideas: recycling glass bottles, and then re-purposing them into cute drinking glasses. My kids would all love to drink from these...and they would probably all fight over the rootbeer one. Take a look at Yava Glass.

Also, I gave a talk yesterday in church on the lives of Mormon Pioneer Women and it was so fun to prepare for, especially since I found this book called Sun-Bonnet Sisters, about 17 women and the amazing journeys they went through. A great, easy read. Heartbreaking and inspiring! It was so good, I purchased a used copy for myself and can't wait for it to arrive and add it to my library.
