Day 4 - The Art of Memory Keeping

I often ask myself questions like,

"How long will I blog?"
"Will I ever grow tired of it?"
"Am I keeping a good record of our lives?"
"How will I look back on what I've recorded?"

I don't have the answers to those questions yet, and for now, blogging is in my life and I am enjoying it. But now that I am two years into blogging, I have finally (thanks to Sarah) found a good way of journaling. I've never been great at writing down the little, but oh-so-important things, although I've felt the urgency to many times in my life. Especially as a mother, I wish I would have written down more. Now I must rely on my memories to keep track of first teeth lost, and first words, and first steps.

But I have a plan. After seeing an actual Blurb book in the flesh (thanks Mel), I have decided to use their site to have an actual printed record of our yearly memories. I am looking forward to having year after year after year at our fingertips. Yes, this blogging trend is my new Art of Memory Keeping. And I love it.
