An Album a Day

Thanks to the wonder that is scheduling future posts... I can be at beautiful Lake Chelan and still share some blog posts with you all. While I am away, you can be sure that I have my trusty iPod and some headphones to keep me happy and healthy. So here's the albums I'll be devouring...

Monday:
Amelia - A Long Lovely List of Repairs
This album has been a favorite of mine for a few weeks now and I just can't seem to get enough of it. Every song is loveliness.

Tuesday:

Carla Bruni - Comme Si de Rien N' Etait
I've been a little fascinated as of late with the new French first lady. Former model turned singer/songwriter turned first lady of France. It doesn't get more interesting, does it? Plus her voice is divine. And even though I don't speak French or understand it, her voice is still divine.

Wednesday:
Imogen Heap - Speak for Yourself
Sometimes I like to go back into my archives and revisit an album that I haven't listened to in a while, especially if the artist has a forthcoming album soon. Keep up with her on Twitter...how cool is that?Thursday:
Brooke Fraser - Albertine
I have fallen in love with her voice, and have realized that her album is sort of spiritual...and that she is a fan of C.S. Lewis. My favorite song on the album is called "The Thief." A Drop Dead Gorgeous Song.

Friday:

Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes
This is their debut album, sort of. They previously released a five track EP earlier this year, which is how I discovered them and I really liked it, so I bought this album, and it's going to take me some time to fall in love with it. I already love a couple of songs...but I need more time with this album. So Friday it is. I have a date with the Fleet Foxes.

Saturday:
I will be driving home from the lake this day and that means I will be listening to one of my favorite playlists. Click on those links and discover some of my favorite music.
