14 Years Later

Yesterday, Brandon and I celebrated 14 years of marriage. It's really hard to believe it's been that long, it feels like it was just yesterday. We were married in the Portland Temple on July 27th, 1994 and 14 years later we spent our anniversary weekend at Mt. Rainier with our 4 beautiful children. Here's our weekend in pictures...

A photo op with the partly hidden Mt. Rainier. Even though it was slightly overcast, it was refreshing to be in the gorgeous mountains and to see a sliver of Rainier.

As we waited for Brandon at aid stations, I snapped pictures of my adorable children...

Brandon finished this 50 miler in 9 hours and 38 minutes. It was a rough course, with about 9000 feet elevation gain, and he fell three times, so when he finished he looked pretty beat up and dirty...but we were proud of him. He is amazing. By the way, just before the race he wrote on his arm his split times for each of the aid stations, which worked because he met each of his goals.

I am so grateful to be married to my best friend and grateful for the life we have been blessed with.
