I know that is such a cheesy post title, but I just feel this overwhelming sense of happiness that Taylor is home...in America...with us. It was so awesome to see him. He's come home with a great tan, a little bit taller, a deeper voice, and maturity.
It has been a huge blessing to our family to read his letters each week and learn from his missionary experiences, and I am grateful for the example he has set for his nieces and nephews. I have always admired Taylor's desire to be obedient and his strength in choosing the right. He is a great kid!
Alicia was right, he is my brother in law, and I love him as much as I do my own brothers. We stayed up until midnight last night listening to him tell us about some of his experiences and showing us pictures. I could have stayed up all night listening. It's that missionary enthusiasm about the work he was doing that is so inspiring. He truly loved the people he served and he is trying to figure out a way to go back and visit the Mozambiqan people really soon.
We will be celebrating all weekend long and enjoying our time with him. Lots of good food, great stories and family. Here's a few of my favorite pictures from last nights reunion at the airport...

This picture is my favorite. We were all standing around talking and waiting for Taylor to arrive when someone nudged me and told me to look over at Ethan. He was standing there, waiting, quietly, for his hero to come home. So precious!
The kids all made posters and candy grams to welcome him back.
The kids with their Uncle Taylor.
Brandon and his siblings; Taylor, Mandy and Jeremy.
My kids have no school today and Monday so we are looking forward to spending the long weekend with all of our family. I hope you enjoy your long weekend as well!
