Every year I make a Christmas CD for my kids to listen to as they go to sleep each night, and I always secretly wish that it helps them have wonderful Christmas dreams. I thought I would share with you a few of my favorites from this years mix for the kids. Some are Christmas classics, some are from our favorite holiday movies and some are just pure FUN!
#1. Grown-Up Christmas List by Michael Buble. This song is hands down my girls absolute favorite Christmas song, every time we are in the car, they ask to play this one, so I put it first on the list this year.

#2. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite - Trepak, the Russian Dance. I always include one of the Nutcracker's songs on their list because going to see the Nutcracker every year is one of our favorite traditions, I think I actually look forward to it more than they do.

#3. Believe by Josh Groban. Seeing The Polar Express in the movie theater was an amazing experience for me. I have always loved the book and I thought the movie was beyond perfection. The music in this movie is spectacular and we love the entire soundtrack.

#4. Where Are You Christmas by Faith Hill. This song from The Grinch soundtrack is a holiday classic for us, and is one of Lily's favorites.
#5. White Christmas by Bing Crosby. As I have stated before, it just isn't a good Christmas mix if it doesn't have some Bing Crosby.
#6. Home Alone Suite (Somewhere In My Memory) by John Williams. We love this movie so much and this entire soundtrack gets worn out at our house.

#7. Twinkle Twinkle Little Me by Diana Ross & The Supremes. If you haven't heard this sweet little song by The Supremes then be sure to find it and listen to it, actually if you are a fan of Motown, then you may like the entire album. It's another favorite of mine.
#8. Little Saint Nick by The Beach Boys. This song is just so much fun and my kids love it!

#9. Mary, Did You Know? by Natalie Cole. This song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it, and I can't help but hope that it reminds my children of why we celebrate this time of year.
#10. When Christmas Comes to Town by Matthew Hall & Meagan Moore. Another incredible song from The Polar Express, and another song my kids request often. They know every word.
The kids Cd's actually have 24 songs and of course also include the popular children's songs like Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Jingle Bells, and Let it Snow. I love hearing all of these songs coming from their rooms as they are drifting off to dreamland...wouldn't your children love a CD of their own to listen to each night?
(P.S.) iTunes is having a holiday music sale, lots of great Christmas albums for only $7.99
