I am not sure how much time I will have to devote to blogging this week, but I thought I would update you on some things.
Madeline and Jocelyn were running against each other for the position of ASB secretary and the primary election was held last week. We found out that Jocelyn is now out of the competition and it is down to Madeline (6th grade) and a fifth grade girl. So there should be another election sometime this week and we'll see what happens. I'll let ya know!
Remember this post where I recommended the use of the Xtreme Sponge? Well, apparently it is not a good idea to use it on your child's forehead to remove a local football players autograph. Although the box says it is safe for skin and hands, IT IS NOT! I feel like the WORST mom in history every time I look at my adorably scabbed son. What was I thinking? Yes, it will remove permanent marker from your child's forehead, along with a few layers of epidermis. And it will hurt. And then the Bishop will ask your son what happened to his head, and he will say,
"My mom did it.".........................Nice.
The nursery is still open and operating a 75% off EVERYTHING sale. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm. We still have lots of trees, shrubs, and some perennials. No annuals however. Seriously great deals. We will remain open for retail business until just about everything is gone.
I am approaching my 100th post and I am excited about a fun (not extravagant though) giveaway I'm going to do to celebrate this momentous occasion. Maybe it will happen next week, we'll see how much blogging I get done this week.
Daniel's Auction is coming together nicely. We have many people volunteering and making things to sell. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Things you should know.....
- There will be a live and silent auction. Silent auction will begin around 7:15, and the live auction will begin around 7:30. If you arrive at 7:00, it will give you the opportunity to browse through the items.
- There will be concessions available. Pizza, Pop, Water, homemade Cinnamon Rolls, homemade Cookies. Yum!
- Over 75 businesses and individuals have graciously donated items, some handmade unique items included.
- Father's Day is just a couple weeks following the auction and there are many different items up for bidding that would make great Father's Day gifts.
We hope to see you all there!
