Pictures Only A Mother Could Love...

Apparently Ethan got bored one day, found my camera and started snapping away. When I plugged my camera into the computer this is what I found...
(An interesting self-portrait)
(his own artwork)
(the sky)

(Jesus)
(picture of him and a boa constrictor)
(more of his own artwork)
(the ducks my Dad gave him for his room)
(hey, he's proud of his artwork)
(the scorpion he got from his cousin Camden)

I can appreciate these pictures because they were taken from HIS perspective of what is interesting. This is just one of the reasons that I love being a Mom. There are fun little surprises like this just about every day.

I like finding a collection of used, dirty, old, crumpled water bottles in Lily's room. When I ask her why, she just says, "They're part of my collection."

I love it when Madeline leaves the rabbit cage open so that I can run through sprinklers chasing down rabbits while the kids are off at school. It's good exercise.

It thrills me to no end when my adorable Jocelyn decides to cut her hair only leaving one inch of bangs to try and style. At least this 10 year old knows what she wants to be when she grows up. The world can always use another hairstylist, right?

Bottom line is, being a Mother is the greatest adventure I've ever been on, and I am looking forward to many, many more wonderful surprises.

Happy Happy Mother's Day!
