New Maroon 5 & Rufus

First of all, I want to thank you all for your well wishes yesterday, I am feeling SO much better today! It must have been all the positive energy you sent my way, (or the wind, like Karen said.)

Go here to see the new Maroon 5 video "Makes Me Wonder". I think it is pretty good. I am excited for their new album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" which releases on May 22nd. The group took a long break, and this new single is telling us they are back, big time. (ok, that was cheesy!)

Also, we took the kids to see "Meet The Robinson's" last night and I loved it. It was good from start to finish. The soundtrack is awesome, and features one of my favorite artists that I have been planning on telling you all about! Rufus Wainwright is so awesome and they have a couple of songs from him in the movie. (Today's song of the day "Across the Universe" is featured on the "I Am Sam" soundtrack which is a must have, by the way.) The "Robinson's" soundtrack also features Rob Thomas, Jamie Cullum, and the All-American Rejects. Musical Genius Danny Elfman was the Musical Composer of the soundtrack and he has done some of my favorite soundtracks, including "Elf", and the new "Charlottes Web" which is also worth checking out.

Wow, that was a lot of info to digest, here, I'll sum it up for ya...

  • Go check out the new Maroon 5 video
  • See "Meet the Robinson's"
  • Listen to the soundtrack
  • Check out the "I Am Sam" soundtrack (this is one of the best movies ever, because of the music, well, and Sean Penn....and Dakota Fanning.)
  • Check out the new "Charlottes Web" soundtrack

Ok, that was a lot easier. Have a great day!

P.S. You may also have heard Rufus on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, he sings a very cool french song.
