Lately I have had a hard time sleeping. See, the problem is I can't shut off my brain. I just lay there and "think" of things I need to do the next day, things people said to me during the day, I think of things to blog about, I think of places I want to go, I think of things my kids did or said that day, yadda, yadda, yadda.
If I don't get up and write down the things I am thinking then it just torments my little brain, until I can't stand it. Last night, I brought a piece of paper and pencil to bed with me, and would write down the thoughts, and still I couldn't fall asleep.
I'm not sure why I'm having so much trouble, so I need your help!
What do you do to help your mind relax and unwind and fall asleep peacefully, and quickly!
(P.S.) Danyelle already recommended that I take a hot bath and play soothing music, which is an excellent idea (thanks Danyelle), but until my husband fixes my bathtub faucet, I'll have to try something else!
