One of my resolutions for 2007 is to get all of our family pictures organized. This is actually a pretty big task. I don't scrapbook so all of our pictures have just been in boxes. 13 years of photos in boxes. UUGGHHH!
But, I am 3/4 of the way done and it has been great to look back through pictures that I had forgotten about. I came across pictures that I love. So today, I am posting my favorite picture.
This picture reminds me of a much simpler time in my life. Four kids is pretty crazy, and life isn't very simple. There are so many places to go, so much homework to do, the laundry. Oh, the laundry. The dishes. At times, it is just CRAZY! Would I want it any different? No! Well, maybe less laundry, but whatcha gonna do? This is my life now, and I love it. It's crazy, but rewarding!
When this picture was taken, in 1996, we only had Madeline, I was expecting Jocelyn, we had just moved into our brand new manufactured home, and we were so happy. Life was great. Brandon was a ward missionary and when he would return home from splits, he would have some popcorn with Madeline. She was an adorable little girl. (She still is.) She looked like Shirley Temple with all that curly hair. She was almost one, and she was a handful. (She still is.)
I love how a photograph can take you back in time, that's what this photo does for me.
