The Ella Music Fest Finale

I am actually sad to retire the Ella music. I could play a different song for a year and still not cover all of her great songs. I decided in honor of her and her music, I would include some info about the woman, Ella Fitzgerald...

She was born on April 25th, 1917. Her musical achievements began when the 17-year-old won first place at the Apollo Theater's Amateur Night, the year was 1934. She recorded over 200 albums and around 2000 songs. She won 13 Grammy's and sold over 40 million albums. She died on June 15, 1996.

Quotes by Ella:
"I guess what everyone wants more than anything else is to be loved. And to know that you loved me for my singing is too much for me. Forgive me if I don't have all the words. Maybe I can sing it and you'll understand."

"Coming through the years, and finding that I not only have just the fans of my day, but the young ones of today -- that's what it means, it means it was worth all of it."

"I sing like I feel."
